"fast": it requires that the process documents with the shortest time consumption be prepared in the shortest time, and the following four points should be paid attention to in the work:

1. The technologist should be able to be familiar with the machine tool equipment and technical level of the unit. It is best to have operated each machine tool and have a good understanding of the processing, so as to meet the requirements of the complexity and particularity of mold parts, get a drawing and quickly determine the best processing process, Increase speed

2. Determine the reasonable minimum machining allowance. Necessary machining allowance shall be reserved between the upper and lower processes and the rough and fine processes to reduce the processing time of each process

3. As the mold parts are mostly single pieces, small batches, and process cards, they cannot be as detailed as batch products, but they should be understood at a glance without omission. The key processes should be explained clearly with processing precautions and operation instructions, so as to reduce the operator's adaptation time and reduce processing errors

4. The fixtures, measuring tools and auxiliary tools required in the processing process should be designed in advance and prepared in advance

"good": it requires technicians to prepare the most reasonable and best process documents to prevent and deal with problems in the processing process. It is also one of the standards to measure whether a technician is excellent. The following points should be paid attention to:

1. Reasonably arrange the heat treatment process. One of the characteristics of mold products is the mechanical properties of materials, and the heat treatment requirements are very strict. For key parts such as punch and concave dies and fixed plates, annealing should be arranged at the beginning to improve the machinability, and then the motor fixing screws should be tightened. After quenching, aging should be carried out to eliminate stress and deformation

2. Strictly distinguish between rough and fine machining processes. Generally, the division of rough and fine processes is determined by the heat treatment process, and the processing after the final heat treatment is mostly fine processing. The allowance should be arranged in the rough machining stage as far as possible, so as to reduce the loss of cutting tools and the loss of electrodes and electrode wires used in electric machining

3. Pretreatment process measures should be used. For some concave dies, punch fixing plates and other parts with more materials removed in the middle, the unilateral allowance of about 0.5mm should be used before finishing, and the approximate cavity should be machined first, then quenched and aged, and then finishing, so as to eliminate the internal stress and deformation in machining. For some thin-walled parts, such as the unloading sleeve, a strengthened process table should be pre processed to prevent processing clamping deformation

4. Set aside the processing benchmark appropriately. In production, we often encounter the problem that the processing benchmark cannot coincide with the design benchmark. At this time, we need to pre process a process benchmark to facilitate the processing of each process. For high-precision products such as progressive dies, dimensional accuracy conversion is also required

5. Use professional terms. In the process documents, we should make full use of the familiar professional terms and processing expression methods, clearly convey the processing intention, avoid the fuzzy language such as "processing to the drawing" and "shape and size tolerance to the requirements", and organically combine the process with the drawing, so that the parties concerned can understand what to do and how to do it, which is also convenient for the inspectors to detect

"saving": it is necessary to fully save human, material and financial resources and improve unit production efficiency. The following points should be paid attention to:

1. From the viewpoint of machining technology and overall planning, the principle of centralized process processing should be adopted for single pieces and small batches of products such as molds, and the processing should be arranged on one machine tool as far as possible to shorten the process flow, so as to reduce the repeated labor time of clamping, drawing recognition, calculation, etc., reduce the time of sequence transfer and inspection, and improve the production efficiency

2. The working hour quota of each machine tool should be fully estimated. The parts that can be stripped quickly should not have obvious damage. Try not to use slow, rough machining, and never fine machining machine tools. This is also conducive to protecting the accuracy and service life of machine tools and saving costs

Processing of plate, shaft and special-shaped parts in mold parts, there are many plate parts, mainly including fixed plates, upper and lower templates, discharge plates, backing plates, etc. the processing of such parts has some commonalities. Take the fixed plates of progressive dies as an example, The technological process can be summarized as follows: blanking → forging → annealing (normalizing) → milling → rough grinding → machining center → quenching → semi fine grinding → aging (stress relief annealing) → fine grinding → wire cutting, EDM. Shaft mold parts are mostly convex and concave molds, and their processing process is generally as follows: blanking → annealing → turning → quenching (or tempering) → grinding center hole → rough grinding → aging → fine grinding → fitter. After quenching, tempering and fine grinding, surface treatments such as bluing and nitriding can also be carried out as required. According to the different requirements of special-shaped parts, we can treat them differently when compiling the process, and strive to optimize the processing technology

As a technician, it is very important to understand the assembly relationship between parts and the role of parts in the whole mold, so as to reasonably arrange the combination or matching process, which is no more than 1m/s. For progressive dies, the size of parts is mostly determined by the design, and there are few parts that need to be matched. Now some parts and parts that need to be matched are as follows:

1. Guide posts and guide sleeve holes of upper and lower mold bases
